The texts a channel shows a person itself (a card’s title, a button, a
login page), in their language: the person’s own when principal is
someone the core knows and they saved one, else the channel’s hint (an
Accept-Language value), else the instance’s default. null for a request
with no principal (a login page): the hint, then the default.
